Bill Sugnet, Team Member
Bill Sugnet joined Team One Networking in 2007. Before joining the team, Bill served six years in the United States Navy, where he was a graduate of the Naval Nuclear Power School and served aboard a Los Angeles class attack submarine as Engineering Laboratory Technician. He received an honorable discharge and was immediately employed at the San Juan Water District (SJWD), where he worked for 13 years.
At SJWD, he was the Information Technology Administrator responsible for the overall technology infrastructure and its security. His experience included utility billing systems, network security, control systems security, and network management. During his tenure, he founded the California Water Security Consortium with several other high-profile water districts throughout California. He also participated in an advanced research project funded by the Department of Energy with a DOE contractor. The project focused on the development of an innovative control systems monitoring package that integrated information form various sources and alerted the system's managers to possible intrusion attempts that may have otherwise gone unnoticed.
Bill's most recent projects include the design and implementation of a global network for Schilling Robotics, the design and implementation of a regional network for a well-known bank in the Sacramento area, as well as various other network, security, and VoIP implementations. Many of these projects were completed in collaboration with other team members.
